About Me

Hi, I’m Jay, an art history graduate with a passion for travel. After university, I moved to Ghent, Belgium, where I learned Dutch and studied cooking and nutrition. My husband’s work took us all over the world, from the Greek islands to California, Tunisia, Denmark, Ukraine, and beyond. Later, I worked on a cruise ship, frequently visiting the Caribbean and Europe.

Traveling extensively has taught me that issues like sea sickness, food poisoning, and other health challenges can turn a trip into a nightmare. For example, I once spent most of my time in New York sick in a restroom. However, with the right knowledge and preparation, these problems are avoidable.

This blog aims to help readers develop the self-discipline needed to handle the pressures of constant travel, offering practical tips learned from my experiences.
